3 Minutes with Kayleigh Graham

Introducing Kayleigh Graham, Head of Sales at Telleroo. She’s also a regular speaker at Accountex London, Accountex Summit Manchester and our virtual events.

Kayleigh began her career in corporate and commercial banking before making the move into the accounting world where she is currently responsible for the strategic rollout of capital advisory services within firms – helping them to raise, recover and protect capital for UK businesses. She is an active diversity and inclusion champion and columnist for AccountingWeb.

We’re excited to feature Kayleigh in our first installment of 3 Minutes With…

1. How did you get into the profession?

I started off in corporate & commercial banking/alternative lending before moving into the accountech world where I began supporting the roll out of capital advisory across accounting firms of all shapes and sizes.

2. Who or what inspires you to be even better?

I’m very fortunate to have a network of incredible people both in and out of the industry and they all do a great job of pushing me to do my best. I also have an incredible partner who inspires me all the time!

In terms of external sources though, Brene Brown is an incredible professor, author and speaker that I have and continue to learn from.

3. Tell us a fun fact about yourself that most people don’t know.

As a teen I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. I took all the right A-levels and was on track to go and study medicine!

4. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Pick your battles – learn when to speak, when to listen and when to leave. Not everything needs or even deserves your energy

5. How important is Accountex to you and the sector?

More than I could put into words! It’s not just an event, it’s an opportunity to showcase all of the incredible people and innovation in the sector. It should be a non negotiable in everyone’s diaries if they’re in this space.
