Welcome to the Agriculture, Animals, Food, and the Environment Career Community! This page is here to help you learn more about these industries and the various careers associated with them. Students who are majoring, minoring, or just interested in learning about careers related to agriculture, animals, food, and the environment will discover numerous career resources that will assist them with obtaining jobs/internships, researching career fields, connecting to UConn alumni, and preparing for the transition process from college to the workplace.

There are many helpful features included in the Career Communities, and we’d like to highlight a few to help you make the most of these resources.

  • Job Market Insights – allows you to view real-time data as you explore career pathways by industry and occupation. You will be able to see core tasks associated with various jobs, employment trends, annual earnings, and necessary skills – among other details.
  • Husky Mentors – connects you with UConn alumni who are available for career conversations with fellow Huskies. We have showcased some mentors directly on our career community who might align with your career aspirations, but you can view many more directly within the Husky Mentor Network!
  • Events & Jobs – view upcoming events and job openings specifically geared to these industries. New opportunities are being added all the time.
